Thank the Troops!

Hey Democrats. When was the last time you thanked a soldier for doing what seems to be an impossible task in Iraq? When was the last time you sent a soldier a thank you card for carrying the fight to Al-Qaeda (via the Taliban) in Afghanistan?

Yeah, I thought so.

Time to right that wrong. And Xerox Corporation is going to make that possible for you - - - for FREE!!

Go to their THANK THE TROOPS website.

Follow the simple instructions.

Richard Morrison For Fort Bend County Commissioner

At last week's meeting of the Fort Bend Democrats, Richard Morrisson, a long-time Fort Bend Democrat and former congressional candidate, announced what we had all been anticipating for months: he will seek the Democratic nomination for Fort Bend County Commissioner - Precinct 1.

I was not there, but I heard about it later. As quoted in FortBendNow, here is what Richard told the Fort Bend Democrats:

And it was for Rick Noriega.

All of that is now just so much oil through the Straits of Hormuz, as Rick is the only candidate running for the nomination to run against Cornyn in November.

Rick Noriega Speaks to Washington County Democrats on Labor Day

That’s where I went today in observance of Labor Day. The Holiday Inn Express was the venue of the Washington County Democrats Annual Labor Day Barbecue. I drove up with a contingent of Fort Bend Democrats to show our solidarity with them, and also to eat their barbecue.
