Repealing Health Law Would Mean More Benefits for Members of Congress

See video

Watch our new video featuring Republican Members of Congress denying that they voted to protect taxpayer funded health care benefits for themselves, while repealing critical patient protections for the middle class and doing nothing to create jobs.

Women Are Watching

See video

Women are Watching is Planned Parenthood Action Fund's 2012 campaign to educate women and men across the country about the unprecedented attacks on women's health and where candidates stand on pivotal health care issues, empower women to hold anti-women's health candidates of either party accountable, and work to elect pro-women's health candidates up and down the ballot.

No Room for Hate in Fort Bend Elections

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, June 1, 20114 Stephen Brown

Fort Bend County Democratic Chair Steve Brown issued the following statement regarding hate mail recently sent to Sugar Land voters:

The City of Sugar Land has long been celebrated for its wonderfully diverse communities.  Such diversity is reflected in its schools, churches and local government.  As voters prepare for upcoming city council run-off elections, it's important that we not engage in the type of hate-baiting and fear mongering that will undoubtedly pull us apart.

"As the Chair of the Fort Bend County Democratic Party, I'm appalled to see that hate has reared its ugly head in Sugar Land's run-off elections."

"We must all denounce the cowardly assertions of an anonymous author to associate a Sugar Land candidate with Al Qaeda."

"Let's hope the voters know better than to select their leaders based on any other criteria than the qualifications and experience that they would bring in serving Sugar Land.  I ask all leaders to join me in advocating for a more civil election."

Had Enough? Vote Democratic . . . For a Change

Remember this campaign ad that appeared on local TV stations in last year's mid term election? I came across it again as I was searching through You Tube's archives.

It made me smile.
