We are making plans for this election season that promises to be the best one since our founding in 1992.

Be at our next meeting on Saturday, June 21st, from 10 am until noon at the George Memorial Library in Richmond to help in the decision-making!
We hope to open two headquarters this year. The "Democrat Shack" on Highway 90A in Rosenberg is in the works to open before the Democratic National Convention in August, and we are also looking into opening a headquarters in Sugar Land. If anyone has any ideas for a location in Sugar Land or Stafford, please let us know.

We will need your help to furnish and staff both headquarters. We still have a big screen tv, desks, chairs, work tables and a couple of computers in storage. We will need more chairs, a refrigerator, desktop computers in working condition, printers and ink, and office supplies. We have use of a pick-up truck to move any heavy items you might have.

We also have two booths side-by-side for the county fair this year running from September 26 - October 4. This is an excellent opportunity to reach out the voters! We will have a float in the Fair Parade and will need your help to get it built.

And, mark you calendar for the evening of Saturday, July 19th for a special event at a location yet to be announced. Also mark the afternoon of Sunday, August 31st. We have a large dinner planned at the Sugar Land Community Center with extra-special guest speakers, auction items, and loads of fun for the family.

We will be training Democratic organizers for Fort Bend and equip them will block walking and phone banking lists and materials to get their area organized.
