Youtube video embed: how-to
- Create a new Story/Page/Blog entry or edit an existing item
- Disable rich text
- Copy the Embed code for the video from Youtube
- Paste the Embed code where you would like the video to appear in the post. e.g.:
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/iWX5u69hmzY&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/iWX5u69hmzY&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
- Change the Input format to Full HTML. Important: If this is not done, your text will appear, but, the YouTube video will be missing.
- Complete the rest of the text editing, title, tags, etc.
- Preview your edits. If everything is correct, your Youtube video should appear in the preview like the one below:
- If everything looks good, Submit the entry
