Townhall on Health Care

By Juanita - Posted on 21 August 2009

Congressman Al Green will hold a Health Care Reform townhall meeting on Tuesday, August 25th at The Power Center, 12401 S. Post Oak Rd., Houston The townhall will start at 6:00 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m.

Congressman Green encourages everyone to attend to make their voices heard in the health care debate.  For more information, you can contact Congressman Green at 713-383-9234

I attended this town hall but was not satisfied with hs reponses to my questions NOR his reponses to questions asked by others both before and after mine. "How can you expect anyone to support this health care reform if there no one can get decent answers to questions abut this crucial issue?". I wouldn't. Congressional Representatives need to become more educated on this reform in order to educate us. Have you asked for a CD of the health care bill? I did. Be sure to ask your Congressional Representative for your copy. Tell them that I recommended it. Just my observations! **Full disclosure: I did attend another town hall and have also viewed them on TV. The same theme applied, " no decent answers to answers!"
