OK, it's not elegant. The flooring, when there is some, is pseudoparquet and some indoor/outdoor carpet that might be blue. At first I called it a "dump" but I was told under no uncertain terms that I was issuing negative energy on that remark, so let's just call it our "Democrat Shack." That works, too.
The dirt is lifted from the floor and it's now ready to receive our campaign stuff from storage.

Bubba just called from the Travis County Democratic Headquarters and said that ours is much swankier than theirs is. Plus, we have two headquarters.
The Republicans will have their usual small, strip center headquarters and will end up fighting each other and taking down each others signs. I can hardly wait to take pictures again!
