"The November election represents a watershed moment for Fort Bend County.  There are already more Democrats than Republicans here.  This headquarters will help us organize and mobilize our base to maximize turnout and prove that Fort Bend is a swing county," stated Party Chairman Steve Brown.  "Last Tuesday’s runoff clearly demonstrates that that the Republican Party has been hijacked by radical elements in their party.  Their extreme ideology does not represent the values of most Texans, including most responsible, adult Republicans. Democrats want to see Texans win, not the agenda of the party that has turned its back on woman, Hispanics, teachers, children, public safety officers, and the middle class," concluded Brown.
