Early Voting Schedule
Early voting is for everyone. You don't need to be over 65. You don't need to be in the military. You don't need to claim that you are going to be out of town on March 4th. You just go in and vote.
Still not convinced?
You don't have to vote in your precinct. You can vote at ANY of the early voting locations, anywhere in the county. The computer selects the right ballot for your precinct. That's convenience!
Still not convinced?
You might have to work late on March 4th, or it might be raining, or your kids might be sick, or you see long lines and turn around to go home. You would miss out on the chance to vote. But you won't miss anything if you vote early.
Vote Today!

You won't hear about this in all the Texas newspapers endorsing him, but the Obama candidacy is a creation of Karl Rove's and has been since his senate election in 2004. In that election, the Illinois G.O.P. forced its own candidate to drop out and replaced him with an unknown, insuring an Obama win. They figured an African American would be the perfect foil for the first viable woman presidential candidate. So Bush fundraisers and strategists, according to an article in Time, helped Obama after he formed his presidential exploratory committee the following year. The group Republicans for Obama has organized a massive crossover voting campaign, including one underway here. Rove also picked Obama because of his connections to Chicago slumlord Tony Rezko, who's about to go on trial for multiple felonies. Rove can use this and other problems Obama has to discredit him in the fall. He'll probably launch the Bush-Cheney successor ticket as independents in the late summer or use the G.O.P. convention for that. Obama's speechwriter, by the way, is Ben Rhodes, the brother of Fox News VP David Rhodes. That's who's responsible for his message of hope. Nice touch, don't you think? For more on Rove's strategy and many source documents, I've posted an article at thecityedition.com
