Winning Momentum

I am still feeling the excitement of being on the winning side a a great election. For too long we have been on the bottom of the ocean on a sunken ship. This election the tide turned our way and the ship rose to the top. As the ship sailed hundreds of volunteers jumped on and we just got bigger and stronger. Lets make sure we keep the moment going by keeping in touch through this website. It will continue to run through the next election. We need you to send us your ideas, comments, suggestions, and even more importantly we need future candidates and volunteers.

Our First Campaign

The first time I was ever exposed to politics was when JFK was assasinated. The memories are still stuck in my mind as my family sat in our living room watching the scenes play out on our 13" black and white tv. Then came LBJ with the Vietnam War, civil rights marches and the race riots. Nixon with his famous peace sign, end of the war and Watergate. In 1975 I was called to political duty. I answered a local newspaper ad to go out and register people to vote. We registered thousands of people in our local community of Rosenberg, Texas.
