Joining Forces: "Operation Educate the Educators" Celebration

Dr. Jill Biden and Army Chief of Staff, General Raymond Odierno, join the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) and the Military Child Education Coalition for a Joining Forces celebration at George Mason University highlighting progress made on "Operation Educate the Educators."

The initiative encourages colleges and universities nationwide to adopt a set of guiding principles that will help better prepare educators to meet the needs of military-connected children. There are currently more than two million military-connected students whose parents are active duty, members of the National Guard or Reserves, or veterans.
