President Obama went on a three day bus tour through Iowa and held grassroots events in Oskaloosa, Marshalltown and Waterloo. In Oskaloosa, he shared how the wind energy industry has become an even bigger source of jobs. In Iowa alone, 20% of the state's electricity now comes from the wind.

First stop on the Women are Watching bus tour: Concord, New Hampshire. Joined by Senator Jeanne Shaheen and women's health activist Sandra Fluke, hundreds gathered outside the State House in New Hampshire to protect and promote women's health.

Missouri Congressman and Senate candidate Rep. Todd Akin has always been out of touch when it comes to women's health issues, but he went too far when he claimed that women who are the victims of "legitimate rape" don't get pregnant. There is no doubt about it: Rep. Todd Akin is wrong for women.

The so-called "fiscal cliff" refers to the expiration of the Bush tax cuts on December 31, 2012, along with a series of spending cuts that will be triggered on that same date. It is called a cliff because the change will not be gradual, but steep and dramatic.

Watching the Sunday news shows can sometimes be a tricky proposition. Just as the panelists begin to face off, the moderators often pivot to another topic or allow the other panelists to digress into their own agendas. By the time the round robin is complete, it's easy to have lost track of who was saying what to whom.
