I don't care who you have given your support to in the Democratic race for the presidential nomination (I was an Edwards man), we all should be able to agree on one thing: John McCain should never be anything but an occasional visitor to the White House Oval Office.

Reflections on Presidential Leadership

I have never been so conflicted about my choice of candidates in all the years I have been voting in presidential elections…and that's been a long time! It seems most people I talk to are also taking a little more time to choose. If you consider how many people in Iowa and New Hampshire waited until the last minute to make up their minds, it seems clear that the choice is simply a difficult one.

I've been reflecting about why that is and figured I'd share with you some of my thoughts on the matter.

As Harvey Kronberg points out, it's becoming increasingly obvious that Texas Governor Rick Perry wants to be Rudy Giuliani's vice presidential runningmate real bad. Apparently, bad enough to embarass himself in public.
