Half Way to Armageddon

The Good Book, in the chapter of Joel, God says that just before Armageddon comes, “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.”

Texas Senator John Cornyn is messing with Joel and The Good Book. John Cornyn is holding up things because he’s an old man not doing his fair share of dreaming. Sleeping, yes. Dreaming, not so much.

John Cornyn opposed DREAM legislation. Not only that, but he committed the Republican sacrilege of flip-flopping on it.

DREAM Legislation, which even Republican Kay Bailey Hutchison supported, would allow citizenship to the children of illegal immigrants who serve in the United States military or graduated college.

But John Cornyn wants the sins of the father to pass on to the son.

John Cornyn, wrong on dreaming. Wrong for Texas. And really messed up on his Bible study.
