Engage 365.  Save Texas Schools March and Rally, Austin, TX  Information: 

• The Katy Area Democrats want you to attend the Saturday, February 23, 2013 Save Our Schools March and Rally at the Texas State Capitol in Austin, TX.
• The Katy Area Democrats have organized a bus that will hold up to 49 Democrats who wish to attend the Austin Save Texas Schools March and Rally. This event is family-friendly and you do not need to be a Katy Area Democrats member to join us. This is a fantastic opportunity to fellowship with like-minded Democrats, meet your Westside neighbors, and learn how to become active in your community!
• Departing from the Katy Mills Mall: Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 7:00 a.m.  (Park at the far end of the lot at Katy Mills Circle and Star Lane facing Bed Bath and Beyond.)
• Returning from Austin to the Katy Mills Mall: Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 3:00 p.m.
• Passenger Cost: $15 per person (payment in advance required, personal checks or money order preferred)

• 1) Comfortable walking shoes
• 2) Your favorite political or school tee-shirt
• 3) Sunglasses and/or hat
• 4) Sunscreen
• 5) A sign/banner to show your support for public schools
• 6) Light jacket or sweater
• 7) Snacks for the ride
• 8) Bag or Boxed Lunch
• 9) A few dollars to tip the driver at the end of our trip
