At Katy Area Democrats March 2012 Meeting, membership voted for the following candidate endorsements:
- Harris County Sheriff – Adrian Garcia, Incumbent (unanimous consent)
- Harris County School Board Trustee, Position 3, At Large – Diane Trautman
- U.S. Representative, District 7 – James Cargas
- U.S. Representative, District 22 – KP George (unanimous consent)
- State Board of Education, District 6 – Patty Q. Nilsson and Traci Jensen (dual unanimous consent)
