Justice for All, or a Candy Bar?

By Wright N. Justice - Posted on 09 February 2008

All human behavior can be explained by desire. People get up and go to a job in order to make money to buy things they desire. We get married because we desire the stability of a committed relationship. We vote for a candidate because we desire what the candidate promises. Yes, even juries are motivated by desire. Trial lawyers must figure out what it is that the jury wants. Is it a desire for justice, or is it something more personal? This video makes a profound statement. We have so far to go before we have Justice for All. Every adult on every jury in every case must look deep inside themselves to make sure that they choose Justice, and not a candy bar.
