Exxon John - The DNC Rips Off John Cornyn's Video

How many times can we rip off Jimmy Dean's "Big Bad John?"

The campaign of Texas Junior Senator John Cornyn hired a videography company to come up with an introductory video at the Republican Party of Texas' state convention this summer. They came up with a real gem that has resulted in we of the Democratic Party having to hold in our sides with laughter and mirth.

As a result, not only did Rick Noriega's campaign produce an answering video, but Cornyn's ridiculous video came to national attention and won the attention of Comedy Central's "Daily Show" with a parody clip of its own.

Well now the DNC has its own version. A clever adaptation of Cornyn's laughable intro piece. They call it "Exxon John."

John McCain, that is.

Here it is embedded below. And for your edification, the two that follow are the original Cornyn Campaign piece, and then Noriega's.

This campaign is shaping up to be the funniest one ever.

Here's the Cornyn original:

Here's Rick Noriega's answer:

Isn't this fun?

"It is long past the time for state leaders to confront board members who make a mockery of public education in Texas. Who is Cynthia Dunbar? She is a disgrace to public education and an embarrassment to Texas."

From a scathing editorial in the Austin American-Statesman (Friday, November 07, 2008), which condemns Texas State Board of Education member Cynthia Dunbar, R-Richmond, for charging that President-elect Barack Obama sympathizes with terrorists who want to destroy America.
