Today, at a grassroots event in Mansfield, Ohio, President Obama highlighted a new report from the Tax Policy Center -- a nonpartisan policy think tank -- that concludes that Mitt Romney would have to raise taxes on millions of middle-class families with children by more than $2,000 to pay for his $5 trillion tax plan tilted to the wealthiest.

Voiceover: "You watched and worried: two wars, tax cuts for millionaires, debt piled up. And now we face a choice.

Mitt Romney's plan?

A new $250,000 tax cut for millionaires, increase military spending, adding trillions to the deficit.

Or President Obama's plan?

President Obama: "We're a nation of workers and doers and dreamers. We work hard for what we get. And all we ask for is that our hard work pays off. I believe that the way you grow the economy is from the middle out. I believe in fighting for the middle class because if they're prospering all of us will prosper.

Abram Powell shares how throughout his life he has faced discrimination not only for his race, but for his inability to speak or hear. Because of this, he hasn't had the same opportunities as others.

But Abram persevered through his struggles; learning sign language from his brother, winning the gold medal at the Deaf Olympics; and working at General Motors for 39 years.

The President is a hard worker, just like I was a hard worker."

First Lady Michelle Obama shares what it was like moving into the White House with two young daughters.

"Those ads taking my words about small business out of context; they're flat out wrong. Of course Americans build their own business. Everyday hard-working people sacrifice to meet a payroll, create jobs, and make our economy run. And what I said was that we need to stand behind them as America always has. By investing in education, training, roads and bridges, research and technology.

Stephanie Cutter shares how Mitt Romney's new TV ad blatantly twists President Obama's words on small business owners and entrepreneurs. Mitt Romney is not telling the truth about what the President said, and he is taking the President's words out of context.

"Over the next four months you have a choice to make. Not just between two political parties or even two people. It's a choice between two very different plans for our country.

Governor Romney's plan would cut taxes for the folks at the very top, roll back regulations on big banks, and he says that if we do our economy will grow and everyone will benefit.

But you know what? We tried that top-down approach. It's what caused the mess in the first place.

I believe the only way to create an economy built to last is to strengthen the middle class. Asking the wealthy to pay a little more so we can pay down our debt in a balanced way. So that we can afford to invest in education, manufacturing, and homegrown American energy for good middle class jobs. Sometimes politics can seem very small. But the choice you face, it couldn't be bigger."

Tax Havens. Offshore accounts. Carried Interest. Mitt Romney has used every trick in the book. Romney admits that over the last two years he's paid less than 15% in taxes on $43 million in income. Makes you wonder if some years he paid any taxes at all.

We don't know because Romney has released just one full year of his tax returns. And won't release anything before 2010.

Mitt Romney's not the solution. He's the problem.
