I Believe We Need Change Locally, Too

As a member of the State Democratic Executive Committee, I am proud to endorse and support STEVE BROWN for the Fort Bend Democratic Chair. Unfortunately, in the past four years, our current Chair has failed to raise money, recruit candidates and assist Democratic candidate's campaigns. In the most important election of our lifetime in 2008, the Chair raised no funds and did nothing locally for our local candidates or Barrack Obama. It is time for a change!

We need a Chair who will work closely with National State and local Democratic Party leaders to turn Fort Bend blue; that person is STEVE BROWN. That is why all three State Democratic Executive Committeemen representing Fort Bend, all living former Fort Bend County Chairs, our two National Obama Delegates and the Fort Bend Team Leaders for 2008 Clinton and Obama primary campaigns all enthusiastically endorse STEVE BROWN. Further, Mr. Brown has received the endorsement of organized labor.

Liberals created Social Security and lifted millions of elderly people out of poverty. Liberals ended segregation. Liberals passed the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act. Liberals created Medicare. Liberals passed the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act. What did conservatives do? They opposed them on every one of those things every one.
